Avarice- Behind the scenes on the new short film with the cast and crew. Michael was the cinematographer working alongside director of photography Paul Skidmore, producer Dan Baker and writer-director Rachel Taylor. The film is slated to debut in the summer of 2011. The film stars Haley Parker, who has recently landed scenes in a new Sundance Film Festival film. Avarice tells the story of a young girl who gets caught up in chasing a mysterious light through the forest and discovers an enchanted world with some twists and turns. Shot entirely on the Canon 5d Mark II HDDSLR, the film has an epic feel and some amazing scenes.

Memphis indie film makers launch a new project. Here are a few still photographs shot by Michael Allen for a new short film shot in Memphis.
