Avarice- Behind the scenes on the new short film with the cast and crew. Michael was the cinematographer working alongside director of photography Paul Skidmore, producer Dan Baker and writer-director Rachel Taylor. The film is slated to debut in the summer of 2011. The film stars Haley Parker, who has recently landed scenes in a new Sundance Film Festival film. Avarice tells the story of a young girl who gets caught up in chasing a mysterious light through the forest and discovers an enchanted world with some twists and turns. Memphis indie film makers launch a new project. Here are a few still photographs shot by Michael Allen for a new short film shot in Memphis. Special thanks to Rachel Taylor, Dan Baker, Paul Skidmore and our leading lady, Haley Parker. Michael was the cinematographer for the film, shooting on a Canon 5d Mark II HDDSLR.
