Avarice Film Trailer

Here is the new short film trailer for Avarice. I shot the film in 2010 and 2011 year for Macedonia films. A short film by Rachel Taylor, produced by Dan Baker at Macedonia Films, and directed by Paul Skidmore. The Indie film company hired my production company, FilmIndesign, to shoot the film on the Canon 5d MarkII HDDSLR. The short film which was created to submit as a feature film project to movie studios. Dan's talented special effects and editing talents were used to help Rachel create this new short film about a young girl's dream world of mystery, beauty and darkness. I was very excited to shoot this film. Working with a full crew, casting & special effects art crew made this project a unique film, full of detail and tight shooting schedules kept the shoot on a very professional level. With over 2 years on this film project, this should be a well crafted short film.

Oxford Mississippi - Tourism Highlight Reel

This film shows life in Oxford Mississippi, great dining, shopping, and home of Ole Miss. Our task was to create a film that told the story of home life in Oxford, capturing some of the details of life in the small town with a simple highlight reel. Created for the Oxford Visitors & Convention Bureau by www.webzmedia.com

Wedding Short Films - Inspiring and Beautiful

Our approach to shooting a wedding film is cinematic in style, often shooting with just one camera. Capturing simple scenes, staying away from the typical television news type of camera moves. Another big difference is the choice of cameras we use. The Full HD Canon 5D Mark II took the world by storm last year, doing things most videographers love. Shallow depth of field, amazing color renditions, a real film look, and the use of a wide array of professional lenses. Our film style is very different, with each wedding more like a work of art, than just shooting the bride walking down the isle. We also use custom stock music from the most current bands in the country. Singer songwriter, indie style music that fits your personality. No sleepy elevator music for our films. We are a small indie film team, we only take a few wedding film assignments each year, and we hand craft our films out of love and art. For more about wedding films, go to our wedding website page and see a few more of our sample films. (This is a recent film trailer we shot in Memphis on the mighty Mississippi for Allison and Matt)

Watersound - Watercolor Resort - Florida

Watersound - Watercolor Resort - Florida. This outdoor nature film was produced to show the beautiful setting of Watersound's natural beach preserve setting for a promotional film created for John Albert Thomas music. The film was shot while we were on location in Seaside Florida, one of our favorite destination locations. We recently hosted a photographers fashion workshop in Seaside, and the images from the shoot are featured in Southern Bride Magazine's 2011 Summer and Fall issues.

A Short Inspirational Film

A short inspirational film. We shot stills for this moving piece about Frank Carlton. Brian Albrecht directed and edited the images for a project at www.hopepres.com. Utilizing the full frame images from the Canon 5d, compositing and effects helped make this moving story a compelling film about Franks challenges during his battle with cancer.

Inspirational Music Video

This inspirational film was used in a motivation lecture series to support the speaker's delivery of his message. Utilizing a full production crew at DeanFV.com along with our team as camera support, lighting and set design, the indie crew used the RED ONE camera to capture some simple but beautiful video. Produced and Directed by my friend Brian Albrecht at Hope Church. Special thanks to my next door neighbor Shannon Dyson for the spending the day with us on this shoot. It's nice to know that over 7000 people at Hope Church got inspiration from this film.
