IT’S ABOUT YOU: I love portrait photography, and especially love working with people. I offer a lifestyle photography that’s fresh, modern and classic. I shoot in my studio quite often, but I also love shooting on location. There are so many great places to shoot that match who you are! Shelby Farms, Collierville Square, The Main Street Art District, The Mississippi Riverfront, and so many more great locations around the city. Each session is customized to fit your lifestyle!
ITS ABOUT PERSONALITY: I like to find out who you are, and what you like to do. I want your photos to show you having fun, or being serious, but looking your very best. I’ve helped individuals get amazing portraits by just having fun, relaxing, and being at ease with the camera. I offer a blend of photojournalistic photography and lifestyle photography. It’s not so posed and stiff like the old school studios.
IT’S ABOUT FUN:I like to spend at least 45 minutes to an hour with you and give you a good selection of shots. Have some fun, bring a change of clothes, and be inventive. I’ll offer posing suggestions, and help you find your best camera angle. I want you to end up having a good time and accomplish getting some great portraits that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
MICHAEL ALLEN: I’m a pretty down to earth guy with a passion for amazing photography. I have a successful studio based in Memphis Tennessee, with over 15 years photography & production experience. I was an art major in schooI and love combining photography with art. I continually strive to think “out of the box” and offer the very best for my clients. A member of WPPI and PPA, I’m always breaking new ground in the photography industry, I’m also an author, a speaker, and businessman. I’m honored to have work that has been featured in publications across the globe, written 2 books on photography, and I’m currently the editorial photographer for Southern Bride Magazine. I’ve got a beautiful wife and kids who all keep me on my toes. Did I mention that I love working with people? I’m also available for travel just about anywhere.
TRACY WELCH: My associate photographer is Tracy Welch. Tracy has been working with me since 2010, and has a wonderful talent as a photographer. She recently helped me coordinate & shoot a major photographers workshop in Seaside Florida, and is mastering her skills as a photographer and cinematographer. Her recent travels took her to Africa for a missions trip, where she captured beautiful images of the people of the land, as well as shooting on her first Safari. She’s working with me on wedding assignments and other projects, and is available for independent assignments as well. Tracy has an amazing personality and rarely meets a stranger.
